Category C Course

This course is designed to get you ready to hit the road in a Category C vehicle, commonly known as a Rigid Body, Class 2 or an LGV.

It is spread over 5 days, and includes the hire of a dedicated reversing area.

With a CatC addition to you licence, you can drive vehicles over 3,500kg (with a trailer up to 750kg MAM). There is NO upper weight limit.

This is the most popular HGV licence in the UK. This is the entry level HGV licence. Every town in the UK has hundreds of deliveries being made every day in one of these vehicles. The average Cat C vehicle is an 18 tonne rigid.
